Glass walking is the act of walking on thousands of pieces of broken bottles.
The glass walk can be a standalone event or added to the fire walk. The idea of walking on broken glass may seem very scary, however, it can be done in a very controlled way and the risks can be minimised.
The glass walk can be held inside or outside, if dry or under a shelter. The area should be flat and have a minimum size of 3m x 4m for the walk area. This does not allow for the walkers, if you want to include them in the area and outside the area, will be the spectators.
We are able to run a number of sessions over 3, if it is a standalone event. Alternatively, a single session for a large group can be run.
There are several myths around walking on broken glass, with main one is we use sugar glass. This is used on the TV and films. It is very soft and brittle and breaks down very quickly if people walk on it. You will see when the glass is poured into the frame, that is very real and the sound of broken glass is very different from sugar glass. So, no tricks, just hundreds of bottles, which have been sterilised and broken.
